Lawyer/Rotarian Tom Scarritt joined 250 volunteers at Camp Rotary in Brandon on September 26, 2015 at an event sponsored by KABOOM to build a playground for special needs children. Mr. Scarritt constructed and painted instructional signs and signposts, while other volunteers built a jungle gym, swings, benches, and tables. Camp Rotary hosts over 2,000 children annually. KABOOM is a national non-profit dedicated to bringing balanced and active play into the daily life of all kids, particularly those growing up in poverty in America.
